Service Of Celebration

For many the traditional, more religious orientated funeral service is not what they would want. You do not need to appoint a member of the clery to officiate a funeral service. Families are now looking at having a service which reflects the life of the person who has died, a celebration of their life which will provide a much more positive funeral experience.

Non religious services

Andy Searson and Debi SearsonThere are a number of service options and, in the past, a clergy would automatically be nominated to officiate the service. They may not have known the person who has died; they may not even have that much time to speak with the family before the funeral.

The person who has died may not have been to church for years, in fact religion may not have played an important part of their life and a religious service could prove an inappropriate option to take.

Religious services are still very popular and we encourage families to make the service option that best suits them and the life lost. However, an ever increasing number of people now seek for an alternative service which offers a more celebrational content and one which is fitting.

Funeral Celebrant - Andy Searson

Andy SearsonAndy Searson has been officiating services for many years and takes a much more positive approach to the lives he has been asked to remember. The ‘Celebration Service’ focuses on the life lost, the years lived, the personality, interests and the love they shared.

These types of service provide a positive focus, enabling family and friends to share with one another an opportunity to remember as well as say farewell.

One advantage of Andy Searson officiating the service is that he gets to know you, the family, from day one. He is there when arranging the funeral; he is there throughout the days and weeks leading to the funeral. This puts him in a strong position to learn about the life lost, develop a relationship with you, so on that very important day, he can stand and deliver a confident service with a sense of knowing you and your loved one.
