There are many roles we perform; our remit is diverse, and we provide every family with a tailored funeral to meet individual needs. However, at the core of what we do, and our fundamental role, is that of caring for those who pass away. This is what it’s all about for us as a funeral service family. We are entrusted with your most valued and loved possession; we’re often strangers, and handing over care to someone you don’t know is never going to be easy. Everyone assumes that the Funeral Director will have the necessary facilities and that their staff are trained, experienced, and well-versed in all things mortuary-related. You’d expect them to have the relevant qualifications and to have invested significantly behind the scenes… Unfortunately, that isn’t always the case!

Most families will have their own perception of what a Funeral Director can provide, they often look in from the outside, the lovely carpet, fancy furniture and expensive cars. We usually judge a book by its cover, but what is more important is what lies within the pages that you don’t see unless you open that book and delve into the details.

We have invested significantly in our ‘Mortuary Care Centre’ that extends the appropriate housing facilities, our Preparation Room, Embalming Theatre, along with dedicated technology systems to manage and control every stage of their funeral journey, from start to finish. Our comprehensive Audit Management System maps and manages their stay, ensures robust identification processes, and keeps them safe through Digital Monitoring, Alarms, security, and CCTV Support, all backed by 24-hour response from our dedicated staff.

Every effort is taken, every step managed, every thought given and being a member of the National Association of Funeral Directors, we do all this in alignment with the UK FUNERAL DIRECTOR CODE. Our regulators have set high standards for care, and the CODE outlines strict criteria for fulfilling our role. We are monitored, we are inspected, and we uphold the CODE and everything it stands for. As a Funeral Director, it’s what you don’t see that is so much more important. That is why we provide photographs of areas that most others don’t show … because we are proud of what we have and equally proud of what we can achieve.
