The Searson Family Funeral Service is probably one of just a handful of funeral businesses in the country with an integrated, fully equipped Print and Design Studio within a Funeral Home. Although a time to mourn, we believe that funerals should also be an opportunity to celebrate a life well lived and loved. We have many creative options to help you capture their life, love, character, and personality. We can help make a truly remarkable commemoration with our range of innovative products, many of which are FREE OF CHARGE.

ORDER OF SERVICE BOOKS:

We can provide a range of innovative Order of Service Books designed and created in-house. We have hundreds of design options, including your chosen Poems, prayers, or Hymns, including your music choices; we even provide the opportunity to include fifteen of your favourite photographs. These are high quality, professionally created books, and the best things; they're offered FREE OF CHARGE.

Our Order of Service Books comes with our compliments when selecting our General Services or a Simple Funeral when our in-house Celebrant officiates the funeral. You can purchase this service at an additional cost for those opting for an alternative Celebrant or Clergy.

PORTRAITS:

Providing a positive focal point during any service will help ease the sadness of the day. Include a Portrait or Montage Board, a full colour, professionally designed and printed artwork, framed and placed on an easel during the service. Framed prints are an A2 product, although we can also extend additional copies in smaller sizes for family and friends to keep.

MEMORIAL CARDS:

Many families like the thought of giving a keepsake of the funeral by extending a Poem or Prayer card to family and friends. Bookmark or A6 size options are typically offered in the same design as the Order of Service Book. One side can be a photograph, the personal details, and a brief selection of words. On the reverse can be a particular poem or prayer of your choice.

DIGITAL LIFE TRIBUTES:

In addition to the Service Books, another integral contribution to celebrating life is one of our digital 'Life Tributes'. Take thirty of your most cherished photographs, have them edited to size, incorporate them with a specific piece of music and have them presented during the service at the Crematorium. They make for a beautiful moment of reflection, an opportunity to smile with affection and admiration, a truly unique concept. We also provide you with a packaged presentation set, a personalised case with a DVD of the 'Life Tribute' to keep. You can purchase additional copies at a nominal charge.

ASHES CONTAINERS:

We are fortunate to have a design studio and workshop that creates the most inspiring and personal Ashes Casket available anywhere. We have hundreds of standard design choices, or you can opt for a fully bespoke creation. We can offer our Ashes Caskets in four sizes; we also extend a range of more contemporary Scatter Tubes in four sizes, all of which are made by the Searson family.
