Our 'Professional Charges' represent the core elements of what we, as a Funeral Director, provide in way of services to you when arranging a funeral. However, if you wish to select a more simplistic service option, please visit our 'Simple Funeral' section.

Charge includes:
Availability of the Searson family 24 hours EVERY day
Provision of a detailed consultation to discuss arrangements
A Home Visit can be arranged at NO additional cost
Advice and Guidance on all available options and choices
Assistance in the collation of all necessary documentation
Guidance on the Registration of Death
To act as an Agent, to make arrangements with all Third Parties such as Crematorium, Cemetery, Churches, etc
Provision of the Searson family to attend, coordinate and conduct the funeral on service day
To arrange placement of notices within Newspaper

We encourage family members to participate in the funeral, acting as a Bearer is a wonderful final gesture. As such, we do NOT include the cost of bearers in our charges as standard, only charging for them when needed.
PLEASE NOTE:
Most local authority cemeteries require ‘Professional Bearers’ ONLY to be used when carrying and lowering a coffin. This Policy is out of our control.

We will provide you:
30 Full-Colour Order of Service Booklets
We take your precious photographs and create a photographic reflection of your loved one’s life, using the booklet as an Order of Service with verses, music, readings and poems that will form the service. We make provision for Fifteen photographs in your Service Book. Please see our ‘Printed Products Explained’ leaflet for more details.
ALTERNATIVELY
40 Full-Colour Prayer/Poem Cards
In replacement of a Service Book, you can have Poem / Prayer Cards which can be created to reflect any one of our Service Book designs. Another option is to have the cards reflect a life relevance such as a Snooker Table, Lottery Ticket, Bingo Card, even a Betting Slip
ALTERNATIVELY
1 Full Colour Framed Portrait Board
In replacement of either a Service Book or Poem Card, we can also extend the offer of a Framed Portrait Board which can be displayed during the Funeral
Service and then taken home to cherish.

Charge includes:
To provide a Modern, Dedicated and Specially Equipped Mortuary Care Facility (AVAILABLE FOR YOUR INSPECTION)
Provision of QUALIFIED and experienced staff who will care for your loved one
To perform ‘First Offices’, the washing and general Laying Out upon arrival at the Funeral Home
Preparation of your loved one for visitors in our Chapel of Rest
To dress your loved one, either in a chosen Gown or in their own clothing
To have the Hair Washed, Dried and Styled to Salon Standard should you wish
For the application of any Make-up that you may feel appropriate
Provision of our Chapel during normal working hours, by appointment

NORMAL WORKING HOURS:
Monday - Friday: 8.00am - 4.30pm

The Searson family, on-call, to respond to your immediate telephone enquiry Initial Advice and Guidance on what needs to be done Provision of Vehicle and Staff to attend, to collect your loved one during working hours Transfer of your loved one to our dedicated facilities, within a 20-mile radius
OUTSIDE WORKING HOURS:
Monday - Friday: 4.3pm - 8.00am
Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays
Our Transfer Service is available twenty-four hours a day, every day of the year.
However, in providing this service outside of normal hours, our staff require additional payment; as such we make a nominal
a surcharge of £50.00
MOTOR HEARSE: ……………………………………....................................... £ 298.00

For the provision of our Traditional Black Hearse
For the Hearse to arrive at a local address, to meet Mourners so allowing following cars to make a cortege
ALTERNATIVELY, the Hearse meets you at the point of service
PLEASE NOTE:
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, we are unable to accommodate family members to travel in the Hearse.
LIMOUSINE: ……………………………….......................................…………... £ 198.00
Charge includes:
For the provision of our Traditional Black Limousine
For the Limousine to arrive at a local address, to collect Mourners and take to the point of service.
A return journey will also be provided up to a distance of fourteen miles
PLEASE NOTE:
The limousine can ONLY accommodate SIX passengers. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide the front passenger seat for public use.. In addition, and in compliance with current COVID-19 Regulations, every passenger must wear a Face Covering whilst travelling in our vehicles.
